I was on my way to work this morning and an interesting question came on the radio talk show that I was listening to.  Are more women today watching more porn?  It used to be that men were the only ones interested in pornography but there seems to be an increasing number of women getting into the visuals of filmed sex. 

I think this is because women today are becoming more empowered to take their sexuality in their own hands (no pun intended).  Plus, the internet has made access to pornography so much easier than in days past.  There is a VAST network on the world wide web with every kind of pornography you can think of.  The Hunn is one of the better free ones with daily picks of pictures and videos.  Yes, I am one of those women that is into porn.  There.  I’ve said it.  Why not? 

I would like to get a consensus from my Vox neighbors as to the women watching porn more frequently now.  Please, I would like to hear your 2 cents worth on this subject.  Do you think that easier access has increased the number of women that view pornography?   Thanks in advance for the input.

I have recently (thanks to my DWH Tom) become a huge fan of the Cthulhu.  WOW I have found quite a few images of him (or should it be "it" not sure as I have not researched enough)  I also found a site where I can go and read the story.  I'm stoked about that.  Too late tonight but I will leave you with a few of the images I dug up.

Things on Tuesday

Huzah!

*Going to Disney Hollywood Studios for free on my birthday yesterday.  A good friend from work also went.  It was her birthday too.  (I have now found an instance where it is appropriate to sing the Beatles “Birthday” song to someone else and it’s actually a fact)  We left at 8am and I did not get home until midnight. 

*All of the cast members at Disney said Happy Birthday to us all day long and we got special treatment because it was our birthday.  We didn’t have to wait in line for many rides and we got excellent seats for every show we went to. 

*Traffic getting there was not too bad.  We made it there in a little under 90 minutes.  The trip went by quick because we were chatting and such.

*I can’t remember ever having a better time on my birthday. 

Gah!

*Geeze, after yesterday, I can’t think of anything to complain about.

Not OK

*Going to the ER early in the morning for chest pains and throwing up blood. 

*My husband making me go to the ER due to the issue.

*Knowing I have to go see a GI specialist for my morning puking problem.  I’m really scared.

*This heat is really beating me up.  Sweltering outside and most of my tomato plants have died because of water restrictions.  Come on rain.

*I have no funds to see a GI specialist.  The bank doesn’t care how sick you are, as long as you make that mortgage payment on time.

*Being at odds with my inner feelings about my life right now and the direction it is going in. 

*Not being able to get a decent nights sleep unless I take a sleep aid.  GRRRRRRR

*I miss my children who are in WV. 

*It stormed here last night and the passenger side window got left down.  Wet seat this morning.

OK

*My baby birdie is learning to fly now.  Will soon be time to clip those wings.

*My good friends at work always making me laugh, no matter how shitty of a mood I am in.

*The Lio comic today.  It shows Lio carrying a pineapple and when he cuts it in half, it shows Spongebob Squarepants also cut in half with a surprised look on his face.  Too funny.  Go Mark Tatulli!!!

*I didn’t puke this morning.  Thank goodness for small miracles.

*My Mom’s kitty Isis came in this morning for her usual early morning cuddle session.  Her fur is so soft and I almost look forward to her clawing on my bedroom door to be let in early in the morning.

Ok ok, I know I missed last ToT but I was sick.  So here is the latest list of things...........

YAY!

~Baby Phoenix is getting bigger by the day and is so much fun to raise.  She is starting to climb all over the place and is quite the ham.

~My work peeps ALWAYS making me laugh.  I laugh harder at work than anyplace else.

~My dear WH Tom, who has the most soothing voice and is my partner in crime as far as workplace inappropriateness.  We got scolded for acting too much like a married couple LOL. 

~My aunt and cousin are both working and getting plenty of hours.

~There are wonderful baby birdies outside here at work as well.  Yellow Crested Night Herons.  They are beautiful with all their brown featheriness.  They peek over the side of the nest to look at me when I stop to talk to them.

~I have a new guardian for my spare change stash.  It is an angry looking octopus from the new Night at the Museum movie.  I got it with the McDonalds might kids meal that I had over the weekend.  I don’t usually leave for lunch on the weekends but I just figured what the hell.

~Less than 2 weeks to go till my free trip to Disney.  I am going with 2 other people who share my birthday.  We’re going to have a fucking BLAST!!!  No kids, no husbands, no nothing but us girls.  It’s nice to have something to look forward to.

~My youngest kid starts summer school today YAY.  He only goes 3 hours a day but it gives him something to do besides bug me because he’s bored. 

~The squirrel outside will now let me pet her on the head and scratch her ears if I peel the peanuts and give them to her.  I have not yet tried to pick her up, but then again, I’m not in any hurry to be bitten.  I will stick with the petting and scratching.

~My fledgling daughter called me from WV to see when her last tetanus shot was because she had to seek medical attention for an animal bite.  It’s nice to know I’m still needed.

BOO!

~I’ve had a cursed headache for 3 days now.  I know it’s because of the muscles in my neck being all tight due to stress.  I have no way to get to the chiropractor as my funds are all tapped out. 

~My cousin got sun poisoning at the beach yesterday.  She was told that the sun down here is WAY hotter than WV but she did not listen.  She had to make a trip to the ER today.  I hope she’s ok.

~I have to warn anyone that drives my van that they may pass out due to heat exhaustion.  The air conditioner does not work and the driver’s side window does not roll down.  Not a good thing on a 90 degree day.  I keep swearing I am going to make it go to the “down” position but then I get to thinking about hurricanes and what would I do if I was getting pelted in the face with hail?  So then I forget about smashing the window out and continue to melt while driving.  Fucking power windows.

~Being sleepy at work.  I swear they pump sleeping gas into the air conditioner vent.  I have such a hard time keeping my eyes open and my brain unclouded during the day sometimes. 

~One of the matriarchs of our department is out sick with gall bladder trouble. 

~My Blue birdie keeps trying to take over Phoenix’s new cage.  It is quite larger than the one she has already.  She will climb in the cage with Phoenix when I’m petting her and starts pecking at the baby.  The baby pecks back sometimes but doesn’t quite know that she can defend herself with her own powerful beak.  Her beak is twice the size of Blue’s. 

~Never being able to sit down and really watch a movie.  Every time I try to sit down and watch one, someone asks something of me.  UGH. 

UGH!

*Today is my daughter’s graduation and my stomach is in knots.  I am so happy for her that she is making her own life but the inner child in me is screaming. 

*My ex husband spent several hours hanging out in front of our house with the kids.  Was VERY tense in our house due to conflicting wishes.  My mom wanted to invite him in and my husband said no way. 

*I’m extremely tired due to having no good quality sleep.  I am so stressed out that my upper back is out and it won’t let me sleep.

*Having to get up and go to work being tired and cranky.

*The passionate part of me has temporarily shut down due to other emotional issues.  I think it’s a woman thing, not being able to think about sex when we’re upset. 

*Not being able to express all the conflicting emotions enough to be able to let myself feel them and let them go.  Not sure why I’m hanging on but I’m sure the reason will be revealed eventually.

YAY!

*My oldest child is graduating from high school.  What a wonderful accomplishment on both of our parts.  I’m VERY proud of her.

*After tomorrow, there will only be 1 kid in the house until august.  I look forward to the quiet.

*The baby birdie is growing by leaps and bounds and is getting green plumage finally!!!!

*My husband is being extremely supportive in my time of emotional distress.  I would be lost without him.

*Knowing that EVERY adult that has raised children has gone through this and that I am not alone. 

*My tomatoes growing in my Topsy Turvy and my homemade version are doing very well and the weight of the fruit is starting to pull down on the plant. 

*My Mother living with me.  I often take for granted that she does.  She has been EXTREMELY supportive of me.

I  could go on and on and on.  I wish my stomach would quit hurting.  It is in knots.  I will surely be glad to have today overwith.  I want to get back to my normal routine so my body and mind and spirit will feel better.  By the time the other 2 graduate, I should be ok with it. 

On the other hand, I will be glad to see her go.  She is trying my patience with her attitude.  I believe that children are made to get on their parent’s nerves so that it’s easier to let them leave the nest. 

I have no easy answers to this but as long as my inventory is in order (from my good friend Tom) 10-10-1-steady, then I am ahead of the game. 

I was doing my daily walk through my garden and happened upon some colorful beauties.  One is a Miami Rose plumeria.  One is of these crazy neon green caterpillers that i discovered on my grape tomato plant.  they DESTROYED it.  I have to buy a new grape tomato plant now.  However, I can forgive them due to the neat way they look.  I love the "eyes" on each section.
